I am Alan Dayley, a Certified Scrum Practitioner, Certified ScrumMaster and Agile software development proponent. I have more than 20 years of experience as a software engineer, most of that time doing embedded software projects. When I first learned about Scrum and Agile development practices, it rang a bell with me. It seemed to be as advertised: The collection of "common sense" engineering and development methods that good developers do anyway. But here they are, documented and structured so that their benefits can be realized without first requiring a decade of experience. There is not much here to look at, is there.
